This is my first time giving a review but my experience at the salon and with my nail tech Mia, I felt as if I was in good hands. The salon was clean and welcoming and from now on this will be my go to salon. Since it was my first time using powder for my nails, I was a little scared, but thanks to Mia's wonderful skills, not only did they come out great, but even 10 days after my appointment, I've yet to see any scratches or markings on my nails. Susana usually does a great job with my hair, but my most recent experience was unfortunately less satisfactory. I asked for a very subtle color change, and Susana used demi-permanent hair color, which I'm aware washes out quickly, but my hair was significant lighter after just one wash, and looked exactly the same as before coming in after two washes. I even used the $40 shampoo they sold me that was supposed to be color-safe. Disappointed :(

I've been going to Mia for I think three times for mani/pedi. She is one of the best manicurists I've had in a long time. The environment and comfort of the nail salon is incomparable to the strip mall nail places that are most common in Fairfax. They have a alternative to gel nails that for me last a couple days more than a week and I am very hard on manicures. I haven't bothered getting polish since I stopped using gel over a year ago. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this place!! My mom and aunt made an appointment to do hair and makeup before an event and were quoted a price before booking the appointment, the salon has those same prices listed on their website, but when they went to pay these girls told them “no no who told you that you owe us $50 more.” On top of being scam artists, they don’t know the meaning of time. Went in for appointments at 11am and didn’t leave until 3pm!! 4 hours for 2 people to do hair and makeup?? Is that a joke? They w... read more
