PhuongThao Smith, saved my hair and made me look at least 10 years younger. She gave a perfect cut- a beautiful rich dark brown color and finally a 'botox treatment'. I have very fine and thinning hair and am in my mid 50s, after going to a much more expensive salon (with hundreds of 5 stars) I was left with over processed and layered hair leaving it brittle and dull, with touches of orange "highlights" over a mousy aging brown. This salon is truly the best in Virginia. Sondes and Mia always take such wonderful care of me, and the owners Miguel, Susanna, and Jocelyn are incredibly kind people. I go there because their service is consistently excellent, unlike many other places. That’s why I always feel so comfortable and happy when I visit. They are the best team. This is my first time giving a review but my experience at the salon and with my nail tech Mia, I felt as if I was in good hands. The salon was clean and welcoming and from now on this will be my go to salon. Since it was my first time using powder for my nails, I was a little scared, but thanks to Mia's wonderful skills, not only did they come out great, but even 10 days after my appointment, I've yet to see any scratches or markings on my nails. Susana usually does a great job with my hair, but my most recent experience was unfortunately less satisfactory. I asked for a very subtle color change, and Susana used demi-permanent hair color, which I'm aware washes out quickly, but my hair was significant lighter after just one wash, and looked exactly the same as before coming in after two washes. I even used the $40 shampoo they sold me that was supposed to be color-safe. Disappointed :(
