My mom went there tonight with an infection and they said they couldn't treat it. WebMD names 7 different antibiotics that will treat it and the process. So what is the hospital for if they cant hire someone that knows how to treat an infection. Really sad to hear. How can you legally release someone with an infection and tell them it is not treatable. Guess I will have to take her to Alexandria or Houston where the real doctors are. Total disgrace.
Radiology is super slow, the doctor said he thinks they are watching Netflix or something! He said they have been that way all weekend and he has been apologizing to patients! When I rang the bell to go to the bathroom, the clerk said “who is at the dadgum door, then when I passed and asked to come back in she said “I am watching!”!! All she has to do is push a button, it’s not like she has to get up to open the dang door!! my grandbaby has been in here since 9pm lastnight. still has not saw a Dr. since the ER dr lastnight. this is ridiculous. if this is healthcare plz close the doors on this place.
RecommendedI had to make a trip to the emergency room this evening with my 9 year old son for a broken collarbone. The staff from admitting, to triage, xray, nurse, and Nurse Practioner name Yvonne was beyond amazing. The whole process was fast and efficient. The group made my son as comfortable as possible, and treated him like their number 1 priority. I cannot brag enough on them. If you ever need to go to am emergency room Beauregard Memorial is highly recommended. They literally treat you like family and not a number.
My daughter had her adenoids removed from here today. I was so impressed by the nurses and staff. They were amazing with my daughter and walked me through every little thing. After surgery they kept reassuring me and made sure we had everything we needed during recovery. I wished I would have gotten their names!
I just had my baby there Friday and all of my nurses were phenomenal. From the nurses who helped me through my C-section to my nurses upstairs helping me through the aftermath, to the nurses taking care of my little girl. Shannon, Callie, and Ashley were the few I remember right off the bat, but honestly, they were all the best and I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I’m SO THANKFUL for all the ladies that assisted me this weekend, they’re truly blessings from God!
We’ve been in the er now for 2 and a half hours for chest pain and no one has been in to see her!!! Please don’t bring anyone you love or care about here!!!!
Ms. Freda in the ER is a great and caring person. Can't ask for better service when she is around. She acknowledges us by our name anytime we are there.
