A Hidden Gem. !!! I went last Saturday morning to the ER in Livonia off 7 mile for the first time . It was amazing. Both Dr Mims and my nurse Jennifer were kind , gentle. ..and caring. As I was getting ready to leave, Dr Mims actually came to ask me if I got any relief from the shot I received...I was out in one hour and 10 minutes.
I am not sure why this place has bad reviews. The staff are nice and professional, you are seen very quickly, and it is a very clean well maintained environment. Go to the ER’s in downtown Detroit and you will realize how good you had it at this place. Although I live in Detroit now I will still come out to Livonia in an emergency. The drive is worth it as you will be seen right away versus waiting hours in Detroit.
Experience with techs who did actual MRI was great! However, experience with Radiology has been AWFUL!!! Took 9 days for them to read. Glaring errors in MRI report. Numerous attempts by myself and doctors to get corrected have been ignored.
While the nurses I’ve encountered were fantastic. (I’d give them on their own five stars)The urology and nephrology departments have a lot to be desired. Nephrology put a tube in a family member’s kidney and insists that a urologist takes it out! How does that make sense?
Had X-ray done. Woman who checked me in at registration and person who did X-ray were both very friendly and quick!
