I would put 0 stars if I could. I called to make an appointment for my 3 year old non verbal autistic child to be see for possible silent seizures or headaches. The first receptionist was nice and explained they dont treat autistic children. I explained he needed to be seen for possible seizures and NOT an autism diagnosis. We got a notice that our provider quit. But nothing that we would have to find a new doctor until I reached out for a refill. I spoke to Sue, on Monday, one of the nurses there. She let me know everything going on, said we would be covered with scripts to the end of the year and would send me a referral for other psychiatrist who are in the area. All seemed great. Dr. Haykel took my beloved Gale on as a patient in 12/2022. We did not want her medicine changed. She had just been rehabbed and was walking after a tib/fib fracture from a seizure fall. Dr. Haykel was a VERY ARROGANT doctor who did not listen to me, the caregiver of 40 years. He proceeded to put her on pills that made her seizures return and then another pill which made her continuously throw up. Dr. Waheed is a wonderful Doctor. She is kind and takes the time to go over things and get to the bottom of my issues. She truly cares for her patients. Seen other Neurologist and they just blew me off and did not do many test when other Dr's wanted them done. She went sent me for numerous test and did a thorough work up on me and figured out what my issues were and ruled out things. I wouldn't know my conditions were serious health issue if it was not for her. She is saving lives. I believe she saved mine that is for sure.

Wanted to get my kid tested for autism. Pediatrician referred us to Beaumont Neurology, who referred us to the Imagine Center. The Imagine Center is terrible; while the tester was excellent, the Center's follow-up and response to messages is so unprofessional. I had to contact them multiple times for information promised me, and I'm STILL waiting on the official paperwork with our results -- which is needed for setting up ABA therapy and such -- and it's been a month and a half since he was diagnosed.
