Out of four different echocardiogram techs, Dakota is the first to immediately locate my heart in it's new location (auto accident and abdominal tumor rearranged my insides) without digging painting into my ribcage. I'm very thankful for her and her patience. Everyone is helpful and kind. I did not feel like an inconvenience or a number.
Finally someone who listens! As a 25 year old who was experiencing SERIOUS health issues after COVID that had sent me to the ER more than once, no doctor seemed to take me seriously. The ER would keep me for hours and then say they couldn't find anything and send me home with no relief. One of the first doctors who has taken me seriously and not just blown me off and said it was “anxiety” or stated that the only thing that could possibly be wrong with me was weight related.
I am so impressed by my doctor here - she is an incredibly kind, patient, understanding, and knowledgable cardiologist and really makes you feel at ease with whatever it is you might be going through as a patient of cardiology. MY ONLY complaint right now is having had my first appointment since COVID started, I was shocked to see that a few nurses had masks down around their noses that they quickly pulled up when patients appeared/turned the corner, and one of the front desk associates had her mask completely OFF HER FACE t... read more
Wow, when you go to Beaumont in general you feel like a special person. But the Ministrelli Women’s Heart Center is all about comfort. The staff and the doctors alike are there to sooth you. I was impressed with the waiting area and the exam rooms.. The doctor was engaging and detailed in trying to figure out what’s ailing me.
