Good location, close to Kew shopping and restaurants. Tram stops close by so easy to get into Melbourne city, Victoria Gardens shopping centre etc. Rooms ok for price with kitchenette and modern bathroom. Wifi was terrible and could not connect at all most of the time, TV only had 3 channels so be prepared for that.
Im not sure why this place has several poor reviews. We just checked in for 2 nights and, as a budget hotel, its quite reasonable. We haven't experienced the poor standards that others talk about. Its relatively clean, tidy and decent sized rooms and bathroom.. a couple of small spiders in the corner but thats to be expected with big trees outside the window and, this is Australia. Amazing hotel! Best night of sleep I've had in weeks! I'll be back
Establishment has a very strange energy. Garden not attended to, dirty windows, staircases and communal walking areas visibly grotty/not vacuumed. Under the bed appeared to have years worth of accumulated fluff and dust. Receptionist unclear and rude when giving directions to my room. She laughed when I clarified directions.
