One bad apple can ruin an entire bunch! Be cautious of who you hire! My 6 year old son has ASD and has been a patient for over 2 years here off and on again. I called to get him back started with speech therapy and as always we scheduled I was told he needed a new referral but he could still attend the evaluation and be sure to have it sent by his dr. He was scheduled only a few days out to see his dr. I arrive at the appointment only to be told he couldn’t be seen without the referral by some young weird dizzy racist blonde... read more
It has been difficult to find a speech therapist for my 13yr-old with autism and gestalt recessive language. The “speech” communication therapist was stuck on augmented devices rather than listening to our concerns and plead for help with learning how to teach him verbal communication and sign language. Back on waiting lists for a speech therapist rather then weekly visits with an alternative communication therapist.
We were referred by our pediatrician, all I can say is I hope the staff that does the rehabilitation with kids are a lot nicer with the kids than the front desk staff is to parents, not very friendly & they make you feel like such an inconvenience just for trying to set up an appointment. My son has hypotonia, nystagmus, and a slight developmental delay. Linda & Stephanie are God-sent! All the staff is pleasant and the facility is very well kept and clean! Strict COVID protocols which is super important with kids. I know they make him work hard but it's only for what's best for him! I've learned so much & can't appreciate their help enough! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Best decision ever coming to you guys!
