I’ve been at Bears Fit for about a year. I came in after some bad experiences elsewhere, and this gym has been fantastic. The facility is huge, the energy is high, and I always look forward to my workouts. As an essential beginner at the gym I wanted to learn proper form and avoid injury, so I started working with Coach Ross. He’s been incredible! Refused to cancel my membership, the gym goers are rude, and I was aggressively verbally harrased by them. I’m obese so I guess they thought degradation was a great motivator.
You can get a solid workout here for a good price per month. Bearsfit is similar to LA Fitness. It does try to market itself as a higher tier and offers a bit more such as towel service and a recovery center (which costs extra). But those factors don't make much of a difference. The towel service is awkward and unreliable. You have to flag down and ask the front desk folks for one and quite often there are no towels available (which can be a drag if you're a busy person on a tight schedule).
