(Paraphrasing the Beach Boys) Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiierkno's! – This is one of the safest locations in the Louisville area. The premises is patrolled by Officer Earl Hindman, Jr., who stops by regularly to fill up on heavily discounted fare. He takes advantage of Fritz Dirbur, with the promise of getting him out of future speeding citations. And God forbid, if someone does decide to rob the joint while Officer Hindman, Jr. is there, he is of little or no use at this point. His hands are full with pizza and fizz, and ... read more

A RUDE, DISCOURTEOUS SUPERVISOR RUINED AN EVENING OUT WITH MY FAMILY – This is my first review. My wife, son, daughter-in-law and myself ate at this location Friday 3/9/07. I had purchased a Big Deals coupon from WHAS ($50 coupon for $25) and when I presented it to our waitress (who had done a very good job) to pay the $30 check, she called on her supervisor to find out how she should handle the transaction. Her supervisor (who obviously was having a bad day) told me in no uncertain terms, that not only would I not get any c... read more

lifer – as a veteran I have to say if you want good bearno's .... go to bowman field .... they can afford to give you a good pie ..... and it's the only store with quality management ... the highlands store had potential, but not everything works out the way it should

A few posters of Italian food adorn the walls, but people come here for the pizza, not the pizazz. The Food Salads, sandwiches and traditional Italian entrees make up most of the menu, but Chicago-style pizza is king. Each pie is a tasty combination of thin crust, thick sauce, generous toppings and lots of cheese. Vegetable pizzas are especially g... read more

The Best – Bearno's Pizza Bowman Field has the very best managers, workers, and pizza on the planet. The food was almost as amazing as the wonderful people that work there.

Not the same – Bearno's pizza's quality has dropped significantly since they've franchised out. For a good pie, go to Wick's, Clifton's, Za's, or Impellizzeri's. Bearno's sandwiches are still good though

Munch Rules – I prefer Munch to make my pie.He is the czar of the oven-a masterful chef. He takes the best ingredients available and turns them into a masterful entree. When you visit Bearno's, ask for Munch!
