i've been hearing a lot of great things about beard papa's, but it unfortunately did not live up to the hype when i finally got to try it. perhaps it was the stock i got, but the cream puffs were very dry and would literally crumble apart when i'd take a bite. not flaky as i had been told. it's such a shame, the flavors itself were amazing (i got the sakura matcha, the rest of my family got ube, cookies and cream, and strawberry), but the quality of the entire pastry was not enjoyable. hopefully i can get a redemption next v... read more
Very disappointing and misleading experience. The advertisement clearly shows the pastries packaged neatly in boxes, which is why I chose this place. I ordered a large quantity intending to give them as a gift. But when I arrived, I was told they could not provide boxes and everything was thrown into paper bags. The pastries ended up messy and looked completely unpresentable. This does not match what is being advertised at all. If you cannot provide proper packaging, you should not advertise it that way. Bummer! First time there, this wasn’t there, that wasn’t there, despite putting full menu. It was around 2 weeks after opening. Second time there, no ube/taro and no matcha, again despite the full menu, no additional info written or added. Third time, we bought for the second time their 6pcs set. Ok on the board it said original/vanila, original/choco, choco/choco, oreo cookie cream/ oreo, green tea/green tea, strawberry/vanilla. Pretty good! Wished the outside cream puff was slightly toasted but enjoyed the icing on top.
All the puffs are soft & delicious. Our faves are matcha on matcha, ube, cookies & cream/ Oreo & chocolate. This location is inside HMart on Lakeline blvd., in between the grocery area & food court. It’s tucked away & less visible, next or near Tous Les Jours bakery.
