Bear's Place is a bar for the ages, literally! This storied Ale House is a Bloomington staple. With decades of local history on the walls, this cozy hideaway offers great food at reasonable prices and the infamous Hairy Bear. Bear's Place also has a very respectable reputation for working with local artists and performers. Check out weekly comedy on Mondays and an excellent songwriter showcase on Tuesdays!
A great place to eat, a stage that's hosted the best of the best, and an incredible staff that'll have you coming back again and again, before you know it you'll be a regular!
It was great to reminisce at Bears Place with a hairy bear. It was exactly how I remembered it.
I was one of the featured writers at last nite's Bloomington Songqwriter Showcase at Bear's!!! What an AWESOME nite!!! The food was great, the brew was ice cold, and the staff were some of the most pleasant, accommodating crew I've ever had the pleasure of working with!!! Big shout out to Christina, Asia and Grant for making this a nite to remember for the patrons and songwriters alike!!! Bear's Place RAWKS!!!
Enjoyed a great burger and fries for lunch! Clean, good service, and friendly wait staff make for a food experience worthy of return business!
