If I could leave a review of -100, I would. This is one of the worst property management companies we have dealt with since my daughter went off to college and then grad school. More than once over the peak heat of this past summer, my daughter and her two canines were left without A/C working and she lives on the top floor of this slum apartment. There should be a way to give negative stars...this company is one the worst to deal with when it comes to renting, scheduling appointments, showing, quality of rentals etc. Employees act as if they are super busy and never get work done. By the way all positive reviews might be from the company owner, employees and their friends.
Bear Granville has managed rental property for my wife and I for many years. They've stayed on top of maintenance, kept the units occupied, and provided general good services to ourselves and our tenants.

We live consuderable distance from our rental property, so we hired Bear Granville to manage our property. We have worked with Bear Granville for five years and only have great things to say. We wouldn’t be successful landlords without them!
Bear Granville took over my formal property management company and the transition couldn't have gone more smoothly. Anytime I'd call with a problem they were more than happy to help. I decided to sale my house last year and Ken O**** was the person who helped me get the job done. He was very professional and answered any questions I had. Some of the office staff can be rude at times. One of their air conditioning likes to take personal pictures of little children. They will rent out a house to you that is extremely dirty and always need repairs. Many times some of the contractors they hire do not fully fix problems and you end up suffering from the same malfunctions all over again. It can be a difficult task to find a reliable property management company. I know because I have been through two companies before using Bear Granville’s services. They are very professional, reliable and willing to go the extra mile to provide quality service. They were there to manage my difficult process of ending one lease, refurbishing the entire property, and finding a new tenant. Bear Granville appeared to be patient and helpful with my roommates and I about getting our applications and verification documents in, only to tell us that the apartment we were applying for had already been rented, with less than a month before we had to be out of our current apartment. Their application/verification process was extremely invasive and complicated, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Hi ****, The application states on the very first line of the cover page: "in order for an application to be processed, we need the following for each applicant:" it then goes to explain that we need a completed application, copy of a government issued ID, an application fee of $50, income verification, and social security verification.
