I hate when I have to call for any questions on my account or when I have to place a work order because their agents employees are nasty. There are plenty of other Property Management companies in Richmond, so I'd recommend living with any other company than this one. I know I wish I would have.
One of the best landlords I have ever had to deal with! Only downside is they ignore minor maintenance issues...so I've had openings in my front and back doors letting air in for a really long time. But I've been renting from them since 2014 and that's really my only complaint!
We have had a wonderful experience renting from these guys! Bear Granville was one of the only places that got back to me quickly about renting apartments and showing me multiple places more than a few times. They never put any pressure on us to make a decision and were always able to answer and questions or concerns we had about each place. Impolite emails, maintenance issues that go on for months, unhealthy mold and non-communication about the status of health concerning repairs. I've been with them for 4 years in the same apartment and up until now I've been pleased. I'm now considering moving. I hope they can get their act together so other tenants don't have to experience what I've experienced.
Maintenance calls are handled quickly and they offer the option to pay your rent online which is easy and convenient. I have rented for 3 years from them.
