Went in to buy some shoes. I was looking for a smaller size shoe. When I asked the woman if the kids shoes came in any different colors other than hot pink or purple the woman in a completely demoralizing way looked at me said “well beggars can’t be choosers.” I would have settled for a “I’m so sorry ma’am they don’t, our kids shoes only come in limited colors.”
