I’m only posting a 2 star for now because the power has been on Since last Friday and I haven’t been back to check if the AC has been fixed, but hopefully it has the maintenance man was there within an hour yesterday when I was doing a little bit of cleaning. That was my next little nitpick thing is the original cleaning service did not do a good job on the appliances or bathrooms at all it seems like they just put down new carpet and even painted over a few cobwebs(and left plenty fresh ones there) there but again big shout... read more

One of the trashiest apartment complexes in Asheville. Expect to pay over 2 grand a month for roaches (infestations are so bad pest control doesn’t help, and when I moved out they hitched a ride to my new place), black mold, ancient appliances, and no parking. Avoid at all costs! Edited to add: The leasing office is a revolving door of people who simply do not care about residents. We have lived at Hawthorne for a little over a year. The property is not well taken care of. Dirt, trash, the shared laundry room has not been cleaned since we have been here. The stairwells and entrances haven’t been maintained. The apartment itself is old and rundown although they advertise as renovated. See more people moving out than in, our building has been mostly empty for months now. Constant rotation of new staff.
