I recently moved in, and the experience has been great so far. The community is situated within a nice wooded family neighborhood with a community park within walking distance. There are trails nearby for runners and cyclists. The location is convenient to West Asheville and Downtown. The amenities are great: two pools, two dog parks, gym, playground, outdoor bbq area, community garden, laundry, and business center. 10/6/26 We Love this place! The team is so nice. Maintenance is great! My apartment is so wonderful. We have no issues! I’m thankful to call Bear Creek my home. We have been here for many years and had zero issues.
Don’t be fooled by how this complex looks from the street- that’s the only well maintained area and strictly for appearance on the “public facing side”.. Don’t waste your money! This complex is an absolute dump. Many apartments have mold, and water pouring through light fixtures is apparently a pretty normal occurrence for multiple residents. Do not rent here!!! We have been here for 3 years and since our time here they have skyrocketed our rent and additional fees and provide nothing in return! They seem to have no respect for the residents living here and prioritize getting new people in rather then maintaining relationships from the people that have been here. My new neighbors pay $500 less than we are paying because they use existing neighbors pay as a way to charge less to new tenants!
