Bear country was fabulous. We saw all the animals and got an up close interaction with the big horn sheep. Hands down a great experience. If all guests follow the rules, this is worth the money. We went later in the afternoon, around 5pm, so the guest traffic was lighter. Will definitely be back.

Great experience! Animals have lots of room to roam, but still it is designed so you will see the animals up close, especially the bears. I can't believe how many bears there were. We also loved the small animal exhibits, very clean and well done.
It was super hot when we went (99) so lots of the animals were pretty sleepy or in shade. I recommend going early morning or later evening for most activity if your schedule allows. Price wise we were a little shocked. $65 for 5 people. It is a little steep considering you just drive around. Overall it was a unique and cool experience the kids won't ever forget. Just bring some cash for the gift shop too!
