Both my wife and I recently moved here and have seen Dr. Bean. He listened to both of our concerns and asked questions to fill in our medical history. He ordered the tests and bloodwork required and even took care of a skin issue I was dealing with for years. I was impressed. Not easy to do with a New Yorker. Very good attentive care.
He is an extremely rude PCP who does not listen to my concerns. When talking about serious issues, he brushes it off like it is nothing serious. He tries to manipulate me into thinking my condition will get better with the little care he provides. I am extremely irritated and sad to see that this is a doctor who we trust to manage our primary care. He is thoughtful and listens to your problem intently. He explains the issues in simple terms to help me understand better.

My husband & I came from out of state and we had wonderful Dr.'s for over 20 years. It's hard to start over and trying to find a great knowledgeable and compassionate Dr. From the moment you make the first phone call, meeting his nurse (nurse Debbie) and working with Dr. Bean. A 10 all the way. I came in with a migraine, he had his nurse give a shot for nauseous and then for pain and having a lab on premise made all the difference. So are extremely pleased. You will not be disappointed.
Poor diagnostics. Belittling
I brought my son into the office after my niece had recommended Dr. Heder. Dr. Bean had taken over his practice. I found him extremely friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions. He spent as much time as was needed with my son. He was open to questions about holistic medicine. He's an excellent doctor and I'm really glad we found him.
Very empathetic, knowledgable, advocates for holistic health, approachable, and easy to schedule an appointment.
I like Dr. Bean, so far. We're new to Salem. He seems to be knowledgable, easy to talk to and friendly. I'm in my fifties and my husband is 62. DR. Bean appears younger than he actually is. I appreciate his sense of humor and at the same time, his no nonsense approach to medicine.
