Our Food is as authentic as the view because we only use lobster that comes off our pier. Our beef is Maine-raised, and our vegetables are locally grown. On top of the classic Maine lobster dinner and rolls, we will update our menu throughout the season with special dishes - including plenty of gluten-free options.

Best lobster roll I’ve ever had.
Oh my goodness where do I even start. BEST LOBSTER ROLLS, CLAM CHOWDER, CORNBREAD, LOBSTER GRILLED CHEESE AND HADDOCK SANDWICH. The food is excellent with amazing cocktails and service that will make you feel like family. We were on vacation for a week here in Maine and we had to stop at Beals for 3 out of the 6 nights. Absolutely amazing and can’t wait to come back when we come back up to Maine!
After looking at the options in and around the Bar harbor area, we saw great and consistent reviews (food and value) for Beals. We had already planned to be in Acadia National Park so this worked out well. Beals in located in the Southwest Harbor area of the park…not far from Bass Harbor and the Bass Harbor Lighthouse. Excellent place for lobster dishes with a really unique vibe. We sat in the upstairs dining room with a lovely view of the harbor. Downstairs, there is a busy takeout counter and a super casual restaurant area. We got a lobster roll and a lobster grilled cheese, both came with very generous portions of high quality lobster.
