Our Food is as authentic as the view because we only use lobster that comes off our pier. Our beef is Maine-raised, and our vegetables are locally grown. On top of the classic Maine lobster dinner and rolls, we will update our menu throughout the season with special dishes - including plenty of gluten-free options.

Lobster was so fresh! Staff was very friendly! Just a great experience!
We were not impressed from the get go today .. my husband asked for the bands to be removed from his lobster prior to cooking “no problem” the kid waiting on us said The bands were still on when lobster was served. I had the lobster cob salad I was never asked about a dressing choice .. the young man waiting on us didn’t seem to really want to be at work today We’ve been to Beals before and it was wonderful .. it will be awhile before we go back

The freshest lobster, steamers, & mussels. A must-visit for us whenever we’re in Bar Harbor. Great atmosphere for dining with kids. Once we even spotted a seal out back!

We had a more expensive meal in a fancier restaurant the night before in Bar Harbor. It was rubbery lobster. At Beal's, we were startled to order at a counter a little like a fast food joint. But the lobster was done to perfection. Good beer and wine selection. Lobster stew was good. Lobster rolls were the best.
