I went into Beadworks for the first time after getting into beading and jewelry making and MY GOD - the prices were absolutely insane! They charge $0.50-$30 for a single bead.. absolutely ridiculous (especially considering one of the beads I saw was $2.49 each compared to buying an entire 15” strand of the SAME BEADS from my wholesaler for $5.. wild.) WORST AND SCARY EXPERIENCE EVER WITH MY DAUGHTER and NEICE who was visiting from Toronto. EXPERIENCED RACISM By The STAFF( A WOMAN WITH LONG HAIR didn’t get her name). MY KIDS WERE TRAUMATiZED. Worst experience ever.

They told me they could repair my favorite earrings. I was so excited but unfortunately that excitement was mislead. The repair only lasted 1 week. The cement glue they used was poorly done and 1 fell apart while I was running errands. The gem stone for my earring is now permanantly lost. In hindsight they do a terrible job of repair as they didn't even bother to clean the contact surface of my earrings before applying the new cement glue. Do not trust your valuables with them.

This place is a total crafter’s paradise! They have an incredible selection of beads, ranging from tiny, colorful seed beads to unique, one-of-a-kind statement pieces. They also stock all the necessary jewelry findings and supplies. My daughter absolutely adores this shop; she’s created so many of her own custom bracelets and necklaces using pieces from here. It’s a wonderful spot for anyone into DIY jewelry making.
