When I moved to Albuquerque, away from Bead Crazee, I told myself it would be fine - there should be a lot more selection in Nm because of all of the native american tribes that are here. I was WRONG! I miss this store - I could always find very unique beads and a great selection of Svwarski crystal beads. I wish they sold online. Oh, I've done a lot of online bead shopping, too and Bead Crazee's prices are very comparable. This store is so small, hard to find stuff and move around. Takes to long to find an item because the store is so cramped for space. The gentleman that works there is so wonderful. I have a problem with the English lady, I have seen her attitude one to many times with some of her customers. The prices are a bit high as compared to other stores and even on the internet. bead crazee's owners have always been friendly and helpful in the shop and the many times i have called for information. i drop by whenever i can.
Lovely owners, don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about- must be a competitive bead store! They have a fabulous inventory-EVERYTHING you need to bead plus I noticed they had classes for jewelry making. Very busy, but they were not the least bit flustered, very helpful & knew lots of their customers by name.
Store owner is rude and money hungry!!!
I just got back from a bead store in Tribeca, NYC and spent over $300 on stuff. I thought that I would find an amass of cool things for a really decent price, since I own my own business. All I could think of when I returned home was how much better Bead Crazee is. This is a really great store for beads, prices and the people are really nice. Im glad we have you in Tyler, TX...
I've been all over and seen tons of bead stores from Hawaii to Mainland... this bead store is great. They have a great selection of natural gemstones, fetishes, as well as findings. I found this place on a whim with my cousin and was very impressed. The prices are very reasonable and the staff knowledgable. You might even be able to catch the owner who is a "gem" and is able to give great info regarding the stones, etc. I really enjoyed this small, but fertile oasis of a store!
