I hate giving bad reviews to companies because, as a business owner, I understand how it feels — we can always take our business elsewhere. I’ve worked with QXO (Beacon) for the past year, and it’s frustrating how often mistakes happen when ordering materials — from damages at clients’ properties to misinformation about scheduling and inventory. Very disappointed with my experience. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and when I tried to return an item, they charged a 20% restocking fee — which I later found out had been covered up on their return policy sign. Not transparent at all. I won’t be doing business here again.

Beacon Building Products (now QXO) is a major disappointment. I’ve ordered from them before, but since the QXO change the service has gone downhill. I spent over a week trying to place a special order—multiple emails and voicemails—and only received a single response. The sales staff seemed disengaged and uninterested in helping. This isn’t just one branch; every Seattle-area location I’ve dealt with is the same.
