Went last night for right eye pain,swelling under eye all the way to cheek. eyelid swelling and eyelid pink partly closed due to swelling. Also sinus pain. Dr didn't get close to me and do any exam. He didn't check eye,sinus, lungs. He did order lab work and xray of sinus. Lab work normal. Dismissed infection. Even though I researched that you can have normal cbc with cellulitis and blepharitis. Still is one of the best urgent cares in the area. Friendly providers and never too bad of a wait time. I was worried when they switched from ascension to beacon, but they kept the same quality of care. Really glad this facility is here in our community.
Was super dismissive and showed no compassion. Made me feel stupid and then got upset when I couldn't do something due to my injury(the reason I was there). Will definitely be getting a second opinion as this behavior cannot be trusted.
Everything about my visit was great, except the provider. I was not impressed with her attitude or demeanor. She made me feel like I was a bother to her for being there. When I called 48hrs later to check on cx results, she was quick to get on the phone and say it's only been 2 days, if I need to follow up with you, then I'll call you. After seeing her 2 other reviews, I understand why. Almost 20 years in the medical field and I've never had a co-worker or provider make me feel that way for being concerned.
