I cannot say enough good things about Beacon Hospice. Gina was my mother’s primary nurse, and she was just fantastic! She got along well with my (very) cranky mother, and provided her with kind, caring and competent care. Stacy was my mom’s social worker. The funny thing is that I am also a social worker! Stacy was kind and supportive and helped my mother with the emotional impacts of a terminal illness at a young age. Bob was the chaplain. I’m giving this company one star for numerous reasons!!! The woman who answers the phone was always rude!!!! Even when we called after hours we weren’t sure what to do or who to call and the person who took the message told us next time make sure we have all the information together. The only positive person during my loved ones admission to hospice until she passed was the nurse Jennie from the first visit and up till the sad last visit she was absolutely wonderful (5 stars) but as far as other staff members and people who ... read more
