The repairmen was great. He actually used some materials that I purchased. On time and courteous.
The Electrician arrived on schedule, immediately understood the work to be done, was extremely courtious, started work immediately, did the work to the queen's taste, kept to the bid estimate which was quite reasonable for the work done, and made an overall great impression. I had some other electrical work left to do, and I hired Beacon Hill to do it. I would recommend this company to anyone needing good, fast work done at competative prices.
Cordial and helpful on the telephone. Responded the day of the call. Cured the problem on the first try. The invoiced amount was fair. We received good value for our dollar.
The only complaint is to install 3 ceiling fans, they gave me a quote of $65 an hour and said it should not take more than 3 hours. However, this project took over 6 hours... When the electrician left, he never told me how much it is going to cost, just that we will be billed later. The electrician was very nice and professional, however if I knew that it was going to take 6 hours, I would have hired somebody else who would have just charged us for the job, not with hourly rate. the service provided was more than I expected to pay and didn't received break down of each service performed and what labor rate was charged. I was told they charged 45.00 per hour they were here from 8:00 to 9:20 and the cost was 325.00 to wire two attic fans they were already installed, put up two smoke alarms they were already install they just needed to be snaped in place and install a ceiling fixture in the dining room no wiring involved just install the fixture.
