Service was fine no issues with that. Billing however is a big 0star. Was set up with payments and was making them then get a notice from collection. I called beacon one account was paying on for my daughter other is mine. Which I was informed supposed to be combined. Give me a number to call this other place so I did was told paperwork would be sent out to me. Month later still nothing an got collection letter from different place now. As a healthcare professional myself, I am disappointed in how Beacon has treated their employees and restricted access to children in our community needing dental services.
They don't bother to tell you that you're expected to pay up front for MRIs. I arrive to check in and am told I have to pay then or not get the MRI. I had an MRI a couple months ago and was not asked to pay up front and applied it to my payment plan. Now this time I'm turned away because I didn't bring money or a card with me. So they waste an appt and a heart device rep was needlessly sent. Don't bother with memorial. It's a waste of time when they are not up front. Beacon's trauma and surgical departments saved my left leg after a motorcycle accident. I am amazed at the results. The standard of care I've received has been top notch. Highly recommend Beacon.
Billing is a complete gamble. There is really no way of knowing in advance if insurance will treat the cost as a standard specialist and charge a copay or if a facility fee will be added and insurance will refuse to cover the visit altogether. I have tried using the online tool, but always get that my portion will be $15 - which is not even an option anywhere with my current Anthem PPO insurance.
