I’ve been going to Dr Herman since I was 21, I’m 35 now. She’s always been amazing, her bedside manner is wonderful. She isn’t pushy or rash like drs I’ve been to in the past, she’s reasonable, explains things so you can understand stand them and has really really helped my acne throughout my life. Highly highly recommend.
I visited this dermatologist regarding trichotillomania. She was kind and professional, and she helped my mom with a separate issue. However, when discussing trichotillomania, the advice I received was simply to ‘stop pulling’ and ‘don’t touch it.’ Because trichotillomania is a recognized mental health disorder, this response felt dismissive and lacking understanding.
