Can someone answer the phones
I called today and a less-than-kind woman was running the reception. Her name is Savannah. I called due to a sick infant. Savannah felt the need to very rudely point out that my child already had an appt schedule in 3 weeks. Fair enough. That’s when I let her know it was due to an illness. She then was very exasperated due to the pediatrician not being in today. Come on, fix your call handling system! Twenty minutes waiting just to ask to be transferred to pediatrics (and they didn't answer, twice). Set up direct lines or a better way to reach various departments via the call prompt. Our Pediatrician (Dr. Franzen) is great but this is ridiculous. Update 2/25/2026: Allegan has changed names (Beacon) again and we're back to square one on calling in and getting ahold of anyone. IT'S FASTER TO DRIVE IN AND MAKE APPOINTMENTS IN PERSON.
