Five months ago I booked accommodation as a birthday surprise for my partner. The weekend we were to go there were fire warnings for the roads entering Bicheno - I forwarded the Tas Alert, also noting my father was very ill and if needed I had to get to the North West Coast! Several emails back and forth a refund ($450) was refused, no offer of postponing accommodation was made, frankly the response was very officious and disappointing. First thing I’d like to start with saying how friendly the staff were and very knowledgeable about what was on offer and what they would recommend. The rooms were quite large as well as the bathrooms little bit outdated but honestly couldn’t fault them. The only thing that I would recommend if it is possible to have rooms serviced daily only due to small amount of towels. Also, there was no washing up liquid and towel to clean our cups In our room.
