Sadly, this is only a one-star apartment! The Beachcomber is in a good convenient location, with easy walking distance to all restaurants, cafes, shops, beach and public transport. Has convenient car parking under the building, $10P/Day. Make sure you use the parking , as the ticket inspectors give out plenty of fines in this area. The Bad and the ugly: The hotel rooms are grubby with poor cleaning, possible only done from the previous occupant. We loved out stay at the Beachcomber. We stayed in unit 2502. It was nicely decorated and had a beautiful view. After reading other reviews I wasn't sure how our experience would be, but we couldn't fault our stay. It was amazing, especially for the price. The unit was clean and we found the staff very friendly.

Staring by false advertisement, Stating of ocean views from the room, maybe if you're looking through other buildings is probably a view, Stating room has King Bed but being Double Bed, Noise level from street at 6am rubbish trucks dragging dumpsters around, hearing lift noise constantly in room, not to mention loud music till 3am by some nutcase. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. Staff were absolutely wonderful and the view is splendid.
