BUYER BEWARE pictures on the website must be AI enhanced - based on the state of my room there is no way any of the rooms match the primary pictures you see on the google map and southwest hotel sites. My objective when booking was a value room on the beach - Two stars for the location being on the beach and easily accessible from the hotel room. Also plenty of parking. We booked a room online. The pictures is such a lie when we got there. Their office was closed and they were using the office at the days inn. very very rude. I overlooked it. I went to the room when we went in the room. There was bugs all over the room. It was very nasty. It looked like the room had not been cleaned in a while. We then went up to the front desk and told the guy that we did not want to stay there. Room had dead bugs all over floor. Pizza flyers strewn about. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We were given extreme attitude from the front desk when we reported it. Didn't get a full refund. Had to fight for that. Wouldn't stay here if it were the last place on earth!
The location obviously was the only draw to this resort. It’s very small and very outdated. No coffee pot. Not very many amenities at all. Would only say it was partially clean. I lost an AirPod, and they couldn’t seem to find it. Definitely signs of past bedbug infestation as well. Not impressed. But what could I expect for the Price?
The room I booked had ROACHES and Expedia said they can’t get me a refund, only a $50 credit on a $372.00 trip. Checked in at 4pm on 8/1, put our bags in. When we came back at 10pm I saw ROACHES, we checked out at 10pm on 8/1
