The Best all around in sales, rentals, new construction & remodeling.
Never, ever,ever again. Renter beware. We arrived to the beach to check into our oceanfront house, Breakaway in Duck, today to be told that it was "uninhabitable" even though it was rented up until today. We had 4 kids, 2 dogs and were told sorry. They found one house which was terrible and clearly the only house on the outer banks available for a reason, not oceanfront, miles away from Duck/Sanderling, having to cross a road to get to a beach with small kids and still expecting us to pay for it. Worst stay we have ever experienced. I would gice them negative 5+ "stars" if I were able to. The place was a mess when we got there after 15+ hours of driving, and on top of that, we had to spend 4 hours cleaning the place just to try to feel somewhat comfortable, didn't look like a cleaning crew had even been through the house. Bugs everywhere, garbage under the beds from previous guests, linens were not washed, ants in the kitchen, shower and bath tubs were not scrubbed, there were giant cob webs all over the walls and ce... read more
I wish i could give them zero stars. I would not use this place again if i had to.. It was a disaster from the start with them. They do not take pride in their properties and it clearly shows. From disabilities, cockroaches, mold, slimy pools to broken air conditioners it was not a very pleasant stay. Then when we send them an email they made it sound as if it was our fault and not help to resolve the unsatisfaction we feel. Shame on you guys!!!
