We have been using Beach Realty/Kitty Hawk Rentals for 27 years and they always do so well! We found Beach Bungalow in 2000 and our young family of 5 fell in love with it. It took many years to rent this house again (it’s popular!) but the past 9 years our now family of 9 has vacationed at Beach Bungalow! We stayed at The Cottonwood, a property managed by this company. The home itself was good — close to the beach, with a convenient outdoor shower. Unfortunately, our experience with the management company was frustrating and reflects poorly on an otherwise good property. Before booking, the listing had conflicting info (amenities showed washer/dryer, description said none). We contacted them directly and were told in writing that laundry was included. Beach Realty was amazing to work with, they were very Accommodating and on top of things. They sent out Reminders for all the pick ups of trash or any other things needed, which was very helpful. Would work with them in the future.
We enjoyed our vacation week. The house was great with a well stocked kitchen and a lot of great spaces to relax and eat outside. The walk to the beach was short and the beach access was not overly crowded. The only down side was the dishwasher was broken all week. The realty company continued to share there was no ETA for a technician to come to check it out. This was less than desirable as we ate most of our meals at the house.
No complaints! House was great and everything went as smoothly as ever =) Will happily rent from them again!
