RecommendedMy dog Dolly has been a patient for 12 years. She receives excellent care and I am grateful to have Dr Matt and his staff tending my precious Dolly do good.
I had a horrible experience yesterday and other times for that matter . I let the other times slide and gave beach buddies the benefit of the doubt but yesterday was completely unacceptable! I was already uneasy because of covid guidelines I was not aloud in with my dog so you think they would be understanding and comforting ... They were the complete opposite! You know you found a special human when he lays prone on the floor, calming my four foot who is having an absolute hissy fit that I have zero hope of containing. One vet tech was enticing him with peanut butter offered on a tongue depressor, one sitting on the floor trying to get him to play and giving him belly scratches and the vet himself, flat on his belly and feet in the air, needle poised for a moment Gunner was distracted. The absolute best experience with a vet I have ever had. !! My dog precious was not fond of visiting the doctor like most pets are . As soon as we walked in the staff was welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. No long wait either . Then we went back to meet Matt the veterinarian who instead of putting her on a scary table in a strange place got right down on the floor with her and they bonded instantly! I called to make an appt for a cat nail trimming and was told to bring her last rabbies shot information. No problem. I asked how they do it and if the owner can go in the room with her. I was told it depends, they just might have to bring her in the back room. I informed the receptionist that I like to bring a towel and hold her while they cut.
