Coming from a big burger connoisseur, The burgers were some of the best that I've ever had... atmosphere at lunch was great.. my 5 year old and 3 year enjoyed their quesadilla and chicken tenders... and the selection of craft beer on tap was awesome.. great place to grub out and chill until the rain stopped... definitely going back next time we're in SAV
Went to B&D's on the Southside and ate on the patio. Food, service, drinks and atmosphere was great, will bring our dog next time, so she can hang with the other ones out there.
I'm not a racist and I don't agree with the stuff back in the sixties but I do not think the trivia guy insulting George Wallace former governor of Alabama in a restaurant is appropriate respectable to the great citizens of the state of Alabama. If we cannot stop with the insults day after day we can never move forward in this country. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but that's the wrong forum for that person to be saying things like he did. It was in Pooler.
If I could give this place more than five stars I would. Braxton was absolutely amazing and we will most definitely be back because of his great service, attitude and conversation! Thanks, Braxton!
This place was absolutely fantastic! I am from Chattanooga and it is pretty hard to beat a Tremont Tavern burger, but B&D comes close. We walked into the place and the environment was very welcoming. The place was busy, everyone was having fun, and there was live music out on the patio. We were seated quickly and the service was great. I only had 72 hours in this beautiful historic city and as a group we decided to get a burger here. I am so upset that I wasted 90 minutes of my limited vacation time here. Felt like a wasted meal. The service was good.... that's about it.

The Telfair burger was absolutely delicious! Pleasant waitstaff and cool ambiance. The coleslaw I had as my side wasn't great, though. Pretty flat.
