BCU has been my bank for many years. I've recommended it to family, friends, and acquaintances because of its excellent service. But lately, this bank has turned into a disaster, a shadow of its former self. The latest example? I've been trying to complete a balance transfer for almost four months, and they've messed up many times by sending the check to the wrong bank. The amount of time it takes transactions to post is unacceptable. It’s 2024. I should not go into the negative because of delayed posting. The customer service reps are kind however they don’t seem to be able to answer any questions in detail. Seems like they’re reading a script. I would advise Baxter to do in training.
Sometimes customer service can be a wait but other than that this is by far best bank I've ever been with
Issued a dispute back in may; waited some time to be told it was never submitted. Resubmitted a dispute and waited beyond the 40 days specified online for a refund to later be told it can take up to 120 days. Waited the 120 days and I’m now being told it could take another 40 days. Every time I call, I get conflicting information. This credit union is not professional, reliable, or honest.
BCU has given me the security and comfort that most large banks cannot. For that I'm very thankful.
