I have been with BCU since about 1991. They have always been understanding and helpful. All the people who answer the phone are kind and nice to talk to. There has been a problem now and again, but over that many years, there is bound to be a mistake. When my kids were young, I opened up accounts for them and BCU was very kind to them, helping them manage their accounts and even when the kids messed up, they credited overdrafts to help them do better and set up their accounts so they didn't do that anymore. Terrible customer service. I have been transferred multiple times With no one taking accountability. They do not listen to concerns
BCU has been my bank for many years. I've recommended it to family, friends, and acquaintances because of its excellent service. But lately, this bank has turned into a disaster, a shadow of its former self. The latest example? I've been trying to complete a balance transfer for almost four months, and they've messed up many times by sending the check to the wrong bank.
