I used to loved BCU when I first open it back in 2019. Even got a car loan with them. Past 2 years changed everything, screws things up with my car payments, causes my credit score to decrease due to missed a payment, after I called in and talk to an agent to make my payment with a credit card. But It did not even charge my credit card and they even reported that miss payment to the credit bureaus. Most ridiculous hours I have ever come across at a bcu 8:30-4:30 Closed Saturdays and sundays, you have to take a day off work just to go to the bank will be changing banks
I would recommend this location to BCU members. It was nice to see a familiar face at BCU at Edwards Lifesciences in Santa Ana. Larissa was able to assist me and my son (who is in another state) with a couple of transaction that I didn’t feel comfortable doing at an ATM machine. This location is accessible to BCU members, non-employees or employees of Edwards Lifesciences.
I will/would never recommend anyone use BCU. It is hard for me to decide where to begin. I’ve spent over 5 hours on hold over the past two days. I’ve been transferred over 10 times to either reach the main menu or to reach someone who is unable to assist me. To receive a call back from a loan officer is NONEXISTENT. It’s 2021 and their messaging system is stuck in 2015. THEY DO NOT CONTACT YOU BACK. Spent hours upon hours of my day to get ANY assistance.
