We purchased a faulty fishing rod and reel that failed twice shortly after purchase, yet staff refused a refund or replacement and dismissed our rights under ACL. The interaction escalated in front of other customers, including repeated comments we found racially offensive (“Speak English”) and threats to call police after we calmly sought clarification. I bought a Daiwa Revalry 2000size recently it arrived shattered! the people at the store REFUSE to give me a refund and better yet a replacement.
Great shout out to Store Manager “Andy” today, for above and beyond exceptional customer service. Searched for a part for me, which he thought they may have had some in stock. Unfortunately they didn’t and also spent a bit of time online and a phone call later, searching for the parts for me. Thank you Andy.
