Gone downhill. No help at all, the staff look up when you walk in and then back down, not even a “hello” or “may I help you”. To busy doing stock to help me even when I asked a question they said “ I don’t have a clue” “google it”. Walked out and took my money to Hooked on bait and tackle across the road, which I instantly felt wanted as I walked in and had a casual conversation, doesn’t seem forced like BCF is.
Honestly, I’m very disappointed with BCF and will be switching to Anaconda for better service and product knowledge. I visited both the Preston and Hoppers Crossing stores looking for advice on products worth hundreds of dollars, and when I asked staff questions, I was told, “I don’t know I can Google that.” In both stores, staff seemed unsure and had to call someone else for help. Worst BCF ever! Have gone to refill gas bottles and always make up some excuse as to why they can’t refill. On multiple occasions have called ahead, before arriving only to be told not refilling. Go to Anaconda just down the road, I’ve never had any issues there. BCF pick up your game and just don’t offer the service.
