I’ve been training at BCBJJ in Waxhaw for three years, and it has become much more than just a place for me to learn jiu-jitsu. I’m new to Jiu-Jitsu and, being a little older, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I started. From day one, everyone at this academy has made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. The instructors are great at teaching and breaking things down, and even as a beginner, I feel like I’ve already learned a lot.

The coaching here is second to none. My son has shown a massive improvement in self confidence, stress control and all around respect for others. The coaches know how to speak to the kids at a tone they can receive positively. I joined the adult lessons and was quickly accepted into the family. I could not recommend a better place to bring my son and myself to learn BJJ and Muay Thai.

After 10 years off the mats I started training again with professor Ben and his team. I was welcomed kindly and have been there twice a week for the past 2 months, excellent training partners and a super clean mat space. Highly recommend BC kickboxing and BJJ.
