We arrived at the Emergency Department of BC Children’s Hospital at 2:30 a.m. with a sick child. Before us, there were three other patients, and by 5 a.m., only one of them had been seen. It seems like no doctors are available. If there aren’t enough doctors, why is the emergency department open? In the end, we gave up and went home around 5:15 a.m. without any care. This wastes people’s time and money and is unacceptable for a major children’s hospital.
Child friendly environment
This is an amazing hospital. So modern, attentive staff, great facilities. Could not be with better care.
Nothing but respect for the doctors and all of the nurses working here. My toddler had a terrible allergy, and they were able to treat her well.
