I was abused at this hospital when I was a kid and have since been diagnosed with PTSD. Do not bring your children here.
Do not send you children here for eating disorder or mental health care. I am a survivor of this “care” and it did more harm than good.
The team at the PICU saved my life!!! I was on about 10 tubes in total and was on the last stage of life support caused by exercising over 11 hours everyday for a year. I was so close to losing my life but all thanks to the angels there, they brought my life back! I also wrote a book and a song dedicated to the amazing team there.
Great paediatric healthcare professionals. Were extremely nice and went out of there way to help me.
Terrible hospital. Today is our second visit and I’m not happy with our nurse. He was dismissive and arrogant. When he came to our room with the medication and beverage, I expressed to him that my child is refusing fluids I was not confident that she would take the medication. The way he responded showed no compassion at all. He said, “you’re just gonna have to force her,” in a condescending tone. Hated that and the cocky attitude. However, the first visit was good.
