The food is always great! I’ve tried the Guy recommendations and they were great! Their BBQ Mary is delicious as well!

Excellent food and atmosphere- The Saturday Jazz/blues Jam with Mama Ray was awesome! Highly recommend stopping in !!!
Was in KC for the weekend and stopped here on 4/15/18... the atmosphere of the place is awesome. Blues & BBQ??!?! Yes please. Our waitress was very friendly & polite. I ordered the BBQ breaded chicken sandwich, and was very happy with my choice. Was a huge portion of chicken on the bun, and it was very tasty. Tasted like quality chicken & not just a “chicken patty.” I also am completely happy our server recommended the skillet potatoes. The Cajun spices on them put the side out of this world! This was a Sunday night favorite while we lived in KC. Was happy to see the promo for Hope House Benefit on Sunday aftermoon/evening, 4/8. We enjoyed over 2 hours of music from Funk Syndicate, Four Fried Chickens and a Coke, and Sax Pistols, as well as BB's delicious ribs, burnt ends, and bread pudding!
This was the last place I stopped on my KC BBQ crawl and was easily the best in town. Ribs were moist and tender, perfectly kissed with smoke. Staff were friendly and let me take a peak at their old pit. If you want old school BBQ joint this is your place. Can't wait to go back!
