THANK YOU LYZA AND TEAM DIXIE! Muah! What a great place! All my 98 year old grandmother wanted for her birthday was a baked potato, which she didn't get! That put me on a mad hunt for someone who could get a potato to my grandmother and Lyza at Dixie Bones bent over backwards to make that happen for me, even though I'm on the other coast in Las Vegas! I love a good barbecued hunk-o-meat and the meat here is excellent, as are the hush puppies. The rest of the sides are a little weak, so I just buy meat and hush puppies and take 'em home to pair with my own sides.
A must stop for BBQ! Excellent food and big portions.
Bar none Dixie Bones has the best hush puppies available anywhere.
Im working in town for a few weeks. I bet I eat here 3 times a week. Great food and service. High quality food. Hmmmhmmm. And the sweet tea is STUPID good.
