I gotta give them props - despite uber taking over an hour to pick it up and deliver it, the food was delicious despite being cold. The chicken was still tender and juicy, and was somehow still very crispy. The cheeseling fries were addictively delicious, and the so ddeok rice cakes were still soft and chewy, which I was surprised as I know ddeok tends to get hard/sticky when cold. I got some take out tonight at this bb.q after being in the live oak area! The food was really good and honestly you get what you pay for, it’s very filling and one of my favorites is the secret sauce! Although I did have a weird experience involving a rude guy. GENUINELY impressed with the management team! There was a gentleman who was upset about a seating policy and made a show of himself getting angry about it to one of the employees. The manager did a great job descalating the situation and kept his cool. Very well kept establishment.Â
Great place to eat. Lived in NYC for a while and let me tell you this is the closest I’ve found to getting NYC level Korean fried chicken in San Antonio. Definitely try their Honey Garlic Chicken while you’re there. Service is always great and friendly.Â
