While food is good, the service is terrible! We dined at the bar, the bartender (I believe her name was Arnette) was not attentive & had a terrible attitude. Another customer at the bar had an issue with the cost/fees on their takeout order. The bartender was rolling her eyes, saying things to other employees, even said something to us about it. Very unprofessional and such a turn off from ever dining here again. Also… the portions are too small to justify the price. It was extremely muggy & hot inside as well.
Cons- No AC when we visited. Too hot in there to be eating pounds of meat. Pros- GREAT BBQ/MEAT! We tried the smoked wings, ribs, brisket, beef and pork jalapeños sausages. Wings were seasoned well and you could taste the smokiness Brisket was juicy and tender. Fatty so take that into consideration if you don’t like fatty brisket but it was great for my taste. BBQ is my favorite food group, so anytime I can try a new place, I take it. Walker wanted ribs so I did a search & found this little gem. Not a large place, but enough to dine in, and all the tables were full. They appear to do a lot of take out business as well. Planned to go in for the platters, so we could try the most we could.
