bbgb is our revision of the little bookshop on the corner. we feature books for the entire family, from wee ones to adults, with a focus on those titles which prompt us to look at the world a little longer, a little closer, and a little differently. we are owned and staffed by a team who is passionate about new and classic children's literature.

What a delightful store! I've been at bbgb for two different author events and my kids had an absolute blast. I am amazed at the store's ability to attract such notable authors from near and far. The staff is always friendly, and I love that they have a little section of books for grown-ups, too! I just can't say enough nice things about our local book shop. I hope they live long in Carytown!

Thank you bbgb for sharing Cece Bell with Richmond this weekend. My daughter Josie was born with hearing loss, wears hearing aids and uses an FM system in school. Cece's stories were similar to my Josie's school stories.... She was so excited to meet an author/ artist that shares her "super powers" and has almost finished EL DEAFO in just two days. So blessed to have such a great little store right here in Richmond!
