We dropped our dog off to be boarded last minute on a Monday and picked her up Wednesday just after noon. We were charged for three nights because we came to get her after 12 PM. She was given an annual wellness exam, flea treatment, and dewormer along with an intestinal parasite screen but we did not consent to any of these. I found a tick on my dog at Thanksgiving. Now today 6 days later she has the typical round target type rash around the tick bite associated with Lyme's disease. The vet said Lyme's disease is not down here in south MS. 20 years of my nursing experience seeing the worst effects of Lyme's disease is evidence of Lyme's disease in south MS. Instructed to put neosporin on it and if the dog got lethargic lost, appetite to bring her back. Very professional and definitely knew what they were doing. My Baby had to get his vaccines and a general check up done. We were in and out in a jiffy and my Pug and I felt very well treated.
please take your pet elsewhere. Don't waste you money or your pets health. there's plently of veternaians that truly care about your pet. i felt a sense if being scammed as a matter of fact i do believe they tried
EDIT: I’m editing my review as of 11/15/2018. Though the staff is very helpful and professional, they charge extra if you have a “difficult” pet. I’ve been coming to Bayview for years. I’ve spent probably well into the thousands of dollars at this clinic. But I feel like it is completely unethical for a VETERINARIAN to charge extra for a pet who is scared and they have deemed “difficult” That would be like a daycare charging extra for a child with ADHD.
