It's a dump dirty floors carpets are black from dirt, food is horrible staff is nasty to residents I know cause I live here
I work at the bayview rest home and assistant living facility it's a great place to work I am a housekeeper there I love it the staff and residents love to joke around and have fun I am blessed with my new friends
I often come to this home to do music therapy with the residents. The atmosphere is full of energy and the residents are always happy to sing and dance to the music. The home is filled with all different age groups and the residents are some of the sweetest most caring individuals I've ever met. They always express their gratitude for the activities and the staff actively joins in the groups as well. It truly feels like a family here. One of the cleanest/well managed homes I've ever worked/volunteered in.
My family was told that our father (age 66) needed a level of care that we could not provide. After searching through available options, we came across Bayview. We met with Kristina Scaglione, head administrator and social worker. She confirmed that this was the best option for us. I find the facility to not only be clean, inviting and offering of many amenities that are not offered at many other facilities that I have known and been present at for various reasons. They have a professional chef that oversees the kitchen and menu- providing according to DOH regulations, balanced and nutritional meals.
