Larry Christensen DVM sees patients at Baytown Animal Hospital Monday-Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 AM until 5:30 PM. We are closed each weekday from 11:30 AM until 2 PM. We are open every Saturday from 7:00 AM until 11 AM. We are closed Thursdays and Sundays. Dr. Christensen's practice is limited to all aspects of small animal care. We offer IVD Diets, Hills Rx Diets, and Purina products. Flea and Tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives and many other popular pet medications are in stock and available.

This place is great until you question any of the many charges they add onto your bill or ask for a written prescription so that you can get medication from an online pharmacy instead of paying the ridiculous prices they have. Then they charge you $18 per prescription then only write it for a 6 month supply of heartworm medication even though if you get it through their own pharmacy they will give you a 12 month prescription. Any kind of concern about pricing will be met with you being talked down to and made to feel guilty.
My son adopted a cat from the Baytown animal shelter and made arrangements for it to be neutered at this vet. He was given a date for the first appointment and took him in. He was given another appointment after the initial exam. He even called last week to verify. I called yesterday to verify drop off and pick up and was told that it wasn’t for a neuter but a backup vaccine visit. He already had that . And my son was told two different prices. We love this place are whippet loves this place loves to give kisses
Would not recommend this place at all. Dr is rude and very impolite. When your pet has a accident in their carrier cause they are hurt and scared. You sure don't want to hear the vet say your animal smells. We even stopped and bought wet wipes to clean it before we made it there. Just very hurtful. Don't seem to have a personal touch.
