The only truly pleasant interaction was with the nurse, Corey. He was friendly and checked in frequently. We spent over 9 hours sitting in an ER hallway for only two diagnostics to be run: CT Scan and Ultrasound. When we were told the ultrasound was the next step, we went two hours without any kind of update or check in from anyone. And when I asked for an update twice from a different nurse at the desks, she was short with me and treated us like an inconvenience.
Go Baystate! Such a beautiful hospital from outside and in! Amazing yellow day lilies and mulch. Walked right in and front desk area is very welcoming to the volunteers with the red jackets all the way up into the Radiology waiting room. I waited maybe 10 minutes and was seen by Nicole and as I was leaving I was asked by staff members 3 times if I needed help finding parking lot. Which was so helpful hahaa I’m just happy because Spld Baystate atmosphere is way different. But different areas. Anyway, GREAT Job!
I’m giving the nurses on the second floor a 5 star rating after having spent 4 days at wing 0 stars to the doctor in the emergency who didn’t do any test or blood work or scans or x rays on my foot I got Lucky the second time around when the staff I dealt with Friday actually did their job. My nurses for my 4 day stay were awesome including dawn, Eliana, the lady with the fancy watch , foday, the nurse with the grey shirt and the two other guys oh and the nurse who knew every wheeler walker jr song and lyrics Can’t remember ... read more
Ive been here all day and everyone has been polite and on top of things. They found what was causing me issues for the last year when no one else that I went to did. Great people.
I left one star because ZERO stars was not an option. I've been with my husband here for hours, not in the waiting room but sitting on a chair inside seeing my husband sitting on another chair with his face all swollen unable to manage and deal with his pain. They have discharged more than 10 people, not a single soul waiting, but us, for more than 5 hours. Not a word, not even a check up to see how he is doing. The worst service. That's why I dislike Baystate, but I unfortunately forgot that this is indeed, part of Baystate... read more
