I have never left a negative review before, but I feel it’s my duty to warn others of the dangerous and incompetent medical staff that I encountered. I was rushed by ambulance to Wing in October 2024 with stroke-like symptoms. Initially I felt I was in good hands. After a CT scan ruled out a stroke, I talked to a neurologist on a computer screen and said she couldn’t hear me because there was too much noise. I was brought to Baystate Wing this morning suffering from Severe Respiratory Distress with an SpO2 level of 90% while laying down. When I arrived I was given supplemental oxygen and was on the Supplemental oxygen while being triaged and was told that my SpO2 Levels were 96% and as such normal, and was told its against hospital policy for them to check my Sp02 levels while laying down, when that is what was causing the distress. I was very surprised with the service my 91 year old aunt received. Every night for a month, I would come to visit her. To find that no one has fed her, bathe her, brush her hair. There was only one PCT for the floor, but she kept disappearing or walking the halls like she has nothing to do🤦♀️ Very disappointing
