I recently had a procedure at Nobel and I just want to give a shout out to the team that took care of me. Everyone was so kind, reassuring, and brought their own flair personality wise. I spent much of the time laughing and making small talk to keep my mind off of the situation. It's little touches like that which add to the patient experience, and it's a brand of care that Baystate Health should always lean in to. Let me preface this by saying the vast majority of staff here were absolutely lovely. They did everything they could to help me feel better about my procedure and make good decisions in spite of my intense needle phobia. However, the anesthesiologist absolutely would not entertain the idea of a mask inducement no matter how hard I tried to advocate for myself, which caused me a great deal of emotional distress.
